I don't think Eddie Lawson was the "fastest rider," but I think he was the "strongest rider." He was a rider who could always achieve better results, and who achieved "results worth more than winning." Despite being able to do that, he was a "gambler" who never missed the opportunity to aim for the win, a "strong rider." I think Eddie Lawson is the "strongest rider."
Calls himself a chilled out entertainer hours after failing to make a single person laugh at his swindon/eric hitchmough stand up 😂
Schiranna Varese 🇮🇹🇮🇹
Barry developed the back protector, organized riders and drivers to refuse to race at dangerous tracks, until they were improved. He's also the reason riders/drivers kept their own numbers. He was a great loss, but left the world a better place, than when he entered it. R.I.P. Barry Sheene

❤ eh Eddie Lawson bons tempos
Gear leaver hummm mechanic.. George Vukmanovich? ie "little George "?
Cuando le robaron el título en favor de Kocinski. El mismo día le robaron el título de 125cc a Hans Spaan en favor de Capirossi, la mafia italiana de las motos.
Better bikes , more interesting riders , better commentators , better vibe .. just bloody better. 👊
エディはこの人差し指1本掛けがカッコえぇネン😍

Steady Eddie Awesome
“I didn’t want you here, but you’re here now”. #SwindonLot 😂
Sounds good 👍 🤘🤘🤘🤘
💯💯💯💯💯🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
nowadays a worthless skill set that is dead in the water
Who do u think u are Barry sheene. He was instrumental in rider safety designed the early back protector and sold it to Dainese. Also got rides for alot a riders Inc schwantz.
The way you think for a second Brent might genuinely apologize for something and then he just blames everyone else is such good writing.
Lawson or Rainey better?
Mona lisa on 2 wheels!
This is when men were men
That carbon fiber foot gaurd is more in the price range of $50 to make. Im a retired racer and composite engineer. We didn't wire our grips because of a tank slapper. Not sure why sheen said that? Its to keep moisture out from getting under the grip like when your in a rain race. If water gets under the grip they can come off fairly easy
A MASTER!!
THANKS
Magee perhaps could have been as good as Doohan if fate didn't intervene! One of Australia's best ever Riders!👍
How good did those 500’s sound - miss them days
1:00 look at the suspension
I remember watching this when I was a little girl, with the extreme pleasure of having Kevin visit the house with friends, it was a crazy fun time for my parents, times I'll never forget.
A large bit of some BULLSHIT about the carbon fiber heel guard costing $1500. Jeez Barry, take it easy buddy, that was a bit hard to swallow.
amazing rpm control
One of the best ever
What a symphony 😍🍺👍🏴
Amazing skills are required to pilot 180 hp unleashed within an insanely narrow powerband. Eddy makes it look easy. Does anybody else notice him manually blipping the throttle as he downshifts under braking on his entry into the turns? A true master aboard one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever made. Fantastic footage. Thanks for posting this.
In a league of extraordinary gentlemen. Doohan, Lawson, Stoner. Most savvy riders I have ever seen.
So smooth
Beckham eat your heart out! This guy was a real sporting hero! ✌️😇
The best Motorsport commenter ever.
Eddie Lawson and Cagiva is one of the greatest underdog stories of Motorsport! His win at Hungary was brilliant!!! One of the absolute greatest of all time! Lawson, Doohan, Dunlop, Rossi, Sheene, Agostini….GOAT’s!🙏
One of my favorite riders ever. A true legend. My kingdom for a KZ1000.
Rosii jajajaja
What is it about the term "chilled out entertainer"...just the wording and the implications...that just perfectly captures Brent's delusions and total lack of self-awareness? It is literally perfect wording that fits the character to a T and how he feels everyone sees him. The writing for his dialogue is JUST PERFECT.
What makes it perfect is that is neither overstated nor understated, it's completely perfect, it's just egoistical enough to be embarassing but not a completely over the top it's unbelievable, this is the key to Brent and life generally, hitting the sweet spot, you go far either side and it won't work.
The older I get I think Ricky simply was Brent, and I don't mean in a bad way, his ability to play the character was second nature to him, it's like someone who can speak two languages equally well. So often Brent feels completely improvised as you're watching him, you can't see the acting being done, that's the tell and why his performance is so remarkable.
I agree, he is Brent. Larry David said similar about himself, who he is in Curb is more true to who he really is than he is day to day in his real life. Possible Gervais having self awareness stops him being like Brent?!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Sounds mean bro
He’s not a plonker
What is with the hay bails and tyres on the old tracks ???? Yeah like riding into pillows 😆
They should at least get rid of traction control or any other control… nowadays..
Kocinski era mucho Kocinski
